Leveraging Benchmarking Data for Automated Machine Learning and Optimization The AutoLearn-SI project seeks to establish a leading ERA Chair research group at the Jožef Stefan Institute (JSI) in Slovenia, focusing on AutoML and AutoOPT for sustained excellence in Slovenia and the neighboring region. By integrating recent AutoML and AutoOPT advancements into research and education, the project contributes to national reforms and positions itself strategically for EU research funding. The ERA Chair will use benchmarking data for automated ML and optimization, conducting research in three Pillar themes (Experimental databases, Representation Learning, and Automated Algorithm Selection/Configuration) and two Horizontal themes (Single-objective Optimization and Multi-label Classification).
