Locked at the Entrance, Open Inside: Where RLVR Narrows the Solution Space
Reinforcement learning with verifiable rewards (RLVR) substantially improves single-sample accuracy (pass@1) but causes the policy's solution space to contract, diminishing the returns of test-time scaling.
