TRAIL: Trajectory-Aware Visual Place Recognition against Unordered Databases
Modern Visual Place Recognition (VPR) methods excel on standard benchmarks yet remain brittle in feature-poor environments. By treating each query image in isolation, they discard the sequential context in any real trajectory.
